In our second part of the series, we put Suzanne into the spotlight. Read on to find out more.. Give us a brief summary of your career so far Graduated in 2005 in English, Psychology and Sociology. After University spent two years with a niche Marketing and PR Agency, writing copy, organising events and assisting with campaigns. Used my experience in the industry and joined a recruitment company who specialised in these areas. After 8 great years with this company I wanted a new challenge and to combine everything I love to create Curteis Webb What is the best thing about working in recruitment? The variety. No day is the same in recruitment with many balls to juggle, throw, toss and turn. I’m(obsessively) organised so recruitment is the perfect job for me. Also there is nothing better than being able to tell someone they just got their dream job! Three words you think Alexia would use to describe you? Chief Tea Maker! What advice can you give to people looking for a new job? Spend a good amount of time on your CV. It’s the first thing a recruitment company and potential employer see. First impressions count! Make sure it really sells you and your experience, but keep it concise – its not the next War and Peace! Also if your working with a recruitment company, be open and honest with them. Build a relationship. Tell them your likes, dislikes, frustrations and career aspirations – it really helps. Come back later to see more from the series.
